VR Cosplay Porn Amp’ed

Accelerated Mobile Pages, and the urging by the likes of Google to begin using them, have been a reality for more than a year now. I was not aware of this new technology, aimed at making mobile pages load lightning-fast–at the expense of a lot of functionality–until a couple of weeks ago when Logan Legend mentioned that she was going to optimize her site for AMP.

The carrot, the rumor, which, indeed, is supported by, at minimum, anecdotal evidence, is better rankings. And that does make sense. Ignoring Google’s stake in the tech, if the AMP pages do what they’re supposed to, then the user experience is going to be better, which works in your SEO favor.

The challenge, she explained, is that most instructions for implementing AMP are not aimed at users who live on WordPress. However, she found a plug-in (I even installed and activated it on VRBlunt.com) that makes the process easier. The plug-in, aptly named AMP For WordPress is the brainchild of a Ahmed Kaludi, among others. It is the plug-in of record, and most information online about AMP for WordPress points you to their plug-in. Will keep everyone updated on how this shakes out!
